Read moreThe collection contains family photographs of the Riabko family from 1930 to 1975, who lived in Huliaipole and Zaporizhzhia. The photographs document family ties, daily life, weddings, celebrations, school events, leisure activities, and participation in demonstrations. Of particular note are the photographs of Oleksii Riabko—an employee of the Motor Sich factory and a self-taught accordionist who played at family celebrations and weddings.
The photographs were digitised by a digitisation lab as part of the public program "From Place to Place: Stories from Scattered Archives," which is part of the "REHERIT 2.0: Common Responsibility for Shared Heritage" project.
