“Olena Luhova in the first year of her work at the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Olena studied at Chernivtsi State University. After graduating she worked as a history teacher at the Korsun-Shevchenkivsky Pedagogical School, and in 1950 she became an employee of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences, where she worked for almost 40 years.
