The collection consists of three films made between 1966 and 1975 on 8mm film.
Mykola Russkevych's film shows the winter leisure activities of city dwellers in Taras Shevchenko Park in Dnipro in February 1966 and 1967.
Marharyta Tkach's films from the 1970s document moments from her private life, leisure activities, celebrations, and trips to the Baltic countries and Uzbekistan. A separate story is a trip to Kazakhstan, specifically the public spaces of Almaty, where Marharyta Tkach completed her student internship.
The collection includes footage from the following cities: Dnipro, Samarkand, Almaty, Tashkent, Vilnius, Riga, and Tallinn.
The films were digitised as part of the project "Safeguarding Ukrainian Heritage of Amateur Films and Home Movies", implemented with the support of the Modern Endangered Archives Program.
