The collection comprises eight 8 mm films from 1970–1995, depicting travel, leisure and everyday life in the late Soviet era. The films document trips within the USSR, notably to Uzbekistan and Crimea, tourist routes, festivals, urban events in Lviv, and collective leisure activities.

Videos of this collection were shot within the framework of the project "City and Art on the Edge". The project aimed to develop a model of viewing various artistic practices that existed in the western peripheries of the Ukrainian SSR in the late 1980's.
